Default first question, first post

Hello all... nice to find a forum where I can get some answers. Fist off I have an '04 v-force... will have it for 2 years in May. I put an aftermarket HMF single slip on, on about 3 months after i purchased... also jetted it... got pretty close with the jetting, just a little rich... but that's might be besides the point. This summer the Check Belt light came on and it started coughing, spitting, backfiring, and not going full throttle. I got lazy and didn't touch it all winter. I just changed the belt and reset the light but still coughing, and backfiring, and everythng else. I read somewhere that it happened to a few people, but couldn't re-find the posts after searching just about every forum out there. If anyone has any info on this, or if it happened to you can you please reply... thanks in advance.

Bill

I am not sure on V, but on the Prairie there is a reset procedure that must be followed, try NYROC's web site, very informative.

i think that that might have been a recall on the V...I am not 100% sure so I could be wrong....try a search and see if someone else has had this problem...you said you checked the alignment and reset the light, so chances are you did the reset procedure....check the website for recalls
