Hight test or low test for brute..
#1
hey guys, I was wondering what grade gas should i burn in my brute force 750. I have been running 91 octane in my brute, but have herd from some people that 91 makes the engine run at higher temps??? Is this true?

I don't have a BF, just the same engine, like all P650's and P700's. Whenever this octane and anti-knock index subject comes up, it is usually resolved by looking in the owner's manual where it says to run 87 anti-knock index. What does the BF manual say?
I don't think you can go wrong running 87. I seem to have about a 100 gas cans (alright, 4), and sometimes I forget to put stabil in when gassing them up. That's when I have problems, using old gas without stabil in it.

Yes it is true. run 87 or mid grade for a tank, when it gets low ride alittle , then put high test in it. You will notice an immediate change in heat coming from engine adn the exhaust. besides personally I run cheap gas, and had the jets updated and suffer
no problems, more money saved for other stuff !! and a lot more comfortable on long rides
