I agree with everyone else its the TORQUE that matters. My fastest is 69, but ill give the 3-4mph away for the ability to hoist the front end up while rolling at 15mph anyday of the week. Lets put it this way TORQUE is for go, while HORSE POWER is for show. Thats how i look at it.

In a big bore shootout in a recent magazine article (I think it was Dirtwheels, but could have been ATV Action). The Brute Force 750 was fastest on top end. The King Quad was fastest by its speedometer reading, but the GPS showed it to be a little optimistic. The Brute Force speedo was right on.

The clutch kit actually dropped the top end down about 4-5 mph but it improved the low end and mid range greatly. I got it more for providing more power to the wheels and helping keep the belt from slipping. I then put that HL ICM Power Pack in and that improved the low end through the top end. I can now get back up to 69 mph like I could when I first bought it before putting the clutch kit in. All and all if your not to worried about speed I would put a clutch kit in. And if you wanna add even more torque to your atv put the power pack on. It's insane!!

Yamihoo
My P650 tops out around 64mph (using GPS to measure) 66 on the speedo. I just ment that where we ride and the way we ride we use lots of short burst of speed and power but we don't have long wide trails. Therefore my quad does't get above 50mph every time we ride.
0 to 30 is where I really enjoy the Prairie, while the guys (most not all) on the other big 4x4 quads are going around the 14" logs across the path I hit them at about 3-5mph jam the throttle for just a second and end up three feet in the air with a perfect (usually ;-) ) landing on the other side; while they all shake their heads, that's where the Prairie shines for me.

Top speed on a ute means very little in the real world once your above 60 or so. There just aren't that many riding places that you can harness all the top end unless your flying down your local highway. What is important is how quick the ute is able to get there. The BF750 has with out a doubt the badest motor made. It's quicker from corner to corner then any other quad on the market. It has power everywhere down low and on top. If you want bragging rights to fastest quad I would not worry about what any Magazine has to say, just line up next to your buddies KQ and blow him away.

Yep your going to love that power! Obviously quite a step up from the Vinson.
But unfortunately the BF chassis isn't quite up to par for performance (aggressive, speedy trail riding) as the Prairie. On a Priairie you can use all the power, the BF is going to take YOU for a ride, thats the general opinion I've seen. But its more of a Utility then the Prairie, so to each his own.
Curls, you have a Grizz, how does that compare? Is it even close? I assume NOT.
