Default LIMP MODE?

I noticed in some earlier postings that someone mentioned a problem that someone else said may be limp mode. What is that? I bought a 650 BF yesterday and was wondering if that is something that i should be concerned about.

if your belt messes up there is a switch that gets triggered under the belt cover that makes the bike go into limp mode where it will only go a couple miles an hour. You can reset it if it was a momentary problem that caused it, but if the belt is slapping or real loose, it will trigger it again. the reset procedure is on Nyroc's site http://atv.dnsalias.com/

If you get a dyna cdi, limp mode problems go away for some reason built into dyna's igniter. Besides solving a problem, you will notice quite a difference in power. I have their igniter on both of mine and have not ever had a problem. I keep the stock cdi in the storage compartment though.
