I have a friend that has a 400 prarie how hard is it to change the front cv boot?

 

I had a torn outer front CV boot on mine, I left it too long and it destroyed the joint, so I replaced the whole shaft. It wasnt really hard at all, just get the machine in the air, take off the wheel, drop the lower control arm, take off the spindle nut, and it pulls apart. I might have taken the steering tie rod off also, but cant remember and im in Colorado right now, nowhere near my wheeler. Its pretty easy though.
