Default Drag racing a BF750 what to do on tires

What do you think I should do with my tires? Should I leave the 27" 589's on since it is dirt of put the lighter stockers on. It is hard to keep the front down with the stockers but they are lighter and quicker. Or leave the bigger, more aggresive 589's on and hopefully get enough traction with them and maybe the extra weight will hold the front down a little better? So many choices. I have the red spring in so it pretty well wants to wheelie all the time anyhow. Also the drag is only going to be 300-400 feet long. I have beat a modded DS650 to 50 on asphalt but I could launch harder than he could. What do you think?

I raced my buddy on his '05 with 27" mudbugs, I have 26" ATR's and I killed him off the line, we raced about 1/8 of a mile, he was gaining on me at the end and could have passed me if the race was longer. The bigger tires give you more top end, the smaller ones make you quicker off the line.

I sand drag alot. My best advice for you is leave the stockers on. Not only is your bike setup for that size tire the stockers are much lighter. Light = fast the more rotating mass your motor has to pull the slower it will rev to max rpm. Prime example a buddy of mine also has a 700p with only a high lifter holeshot module. He runs stock tires and wheels, even though my bike makes lots more power, with my 25" holeshots on c series wheels he will hang with me. BUT when I swapped tires and wheels with him he didn't have a chance and I out weigh him by 145lbs. If you have trouble keeping it down lean way over the handlebars like I have to on pavement and hard pack if it still comes up just feather gas til it sits down then hammer it. Also if the stockers spin to much try dropping the air pressure it should help.
