im guessing that the CRF450r sound the same as the TRX450r..right cuz they are both the same motor...

 

if so... i am 100% sure that a stock CRF450/TRX450r is not 102db...cuz 102db is really loud..most riding areas will not let you ride there unless your quad/dirtbike is quiter than 96-98db...

 

Not necessarily because the exhausts are probably much different. The TRX450R seems to have a huge cannister on the back end while the CRF450R simply does not. In reviews I've read of the TRX450R, they talk about how quiet it seems. The CRF450R (bike) is anything BUT quiet. I'm looking for a comparison to the actual CRF dirtbike itself because I know the decibel rating for that and I've heard it with my own ears.

 

yeah thats true..but i dont think that they would ever make anything stock that loud...cuz thats really loud...

 

Oh believe me, the big thumper mx bikes are LOUD right off the showroom floor.
