know that is not interesting for you, american friends, but here in Italy, Atv's can ride on public roads, like normal motorbike's, with normal insurance. The problem is that: from last year, alla atv's have to change Brake system, into 4wheels baraking system with just one Handle! It is a really bullshiit, we all say that it is a "crime" to learn to factory like Yamaha or Kawasaki etc...how to product a RIGHT braking system! But, the Law....is Law! In fact, we all change the alla 4 wheels braking, re-installing the right System, with 2 handle brakers, like we all appreciate driving an atv.

Go here scroll down and check your state.
I'm in Louisiana and they are very strict on ATV usage! You can only ride the side of the road (shoulder) within a 5 mi. radius IF you own a farm and can show proof. That sucks!
I'm sure Mississippi is the same or close to Louisiana. Seems the southern states are all against ATVs.

In Sturgeon Falls Canada we can go on the roads since a year ago. No signal lights nothing to be added to a original bike. The only downfall is that you have to go 1/2 the speed limit posted. It is pretty awsome, everyone is buying quads these days.
