prairie 700 exhaust
#1
Hey guys I have a prairie 700 and I am looking to put a pipe/exhaust system on it. I miss the sound of my 2stroke dirt bike. I realize I won’t get the same sound but I am looking for something better then stock.
Has anyone put a pipe on their prairie 700? Is it difficult to install? What can I expect to pay? Are slip-ons as good?
I’m more after sound then performance believe it or not. Your comments are appreciated.

Slip on's are good but a full system is a little better although far more expencive. If you are just after the sound I would recommend a slip-on. I have hmf exhaust on mine and I've been very happy with it, no problems to date, sounds mean, and looks good. If you decide to go with hmf I would suggest you consider getting the silencer powder coated, for $20 you can't beat it and it really looks good. The system was realitively easy to install and will make your 700p sound like a dragster. In short for sound a slipon with powder coating and proper jetting from hmf for around $240 after shipping is the way to go.

And isn't the HMF Penland considered the premium exhaust for the Prairie? I forgot about it! FMF Powerline would probably be nice too, never needs repacked!

I have tryed the IDSx and the Procircut full system. I love the Procircut and have it on all my prairie/twin peaks quads inc. the BB800. I like the sound from the Procircut better than any that I have herd. If you want to see what the Procircut looks likes you can see it in some of my pic's
