Default BF 650 info?

Hello, I am interested in a BF650 and need some info. What is its top speed and how stable is it on off cambers? Has anyone been having the same problems with the BF650 as they have been with the BF750 such as the tie rod problem?

Thanks for any assistance!

from what im told the 650 bf handles the same as the 700 prarie.
and the top speed should be around 60mph.
i love my prarie and if the 650 is anything like the 700 youll will love it.
they ride great and handle just as good.
i ride on all sorts of terrane and do alot of off camber riding and im very happy with the way it handles any situation.
out of the three quads iv had an 03 arctic cat 500 with irs.
witch i traded for my honda that im very happy with also.
but its not as much fun as the kawi.
and my 700p that i cant get enuff of.
im not an irs fan i rolled my ac more times then i care to think about.
irs sucks going up big hills the rear is to soft and it keeps on popping the front wheels up.
and thats why i traded it and got a sra quad.
the 650 bf is great quad to buy and the more you ride it the more you will love it.
ps. have you thought about the 700 prarie.
it is faster then the 650 and i think it looks better also.
just my opinion.
eather way youll be very happy.

The 650 is a great atv. Very reliable. It doesnt have the probs the 750 does. Basically when it came out it was a time tested new quad seeing how its just a prairie 650 but a touch better. The top speed should be around 65-67 stock. Remember, use low gear as much as possible. I use low when going under about 20-20. It will make the belt last longer.

My BF 650 has done 64 mph. It's gotten hot and humid now so it'll only do 60 now. (I'm 6'9", 300 lbs)

Handles everything (hill climbing, off camber, mud holes, etc) wonderfully. Bone stock it wheelies without any help.

I replaced a Honda Rancher AT with this 650 and am now a Kawie man for sure. You'll love it.

Also, there are gobs of easy, relatively inexpensive mods out there for the Kawies.

I put Mudlites on it before it left the dealer. I hear the tires suck.

I have an '03 P650, which is basically the same quad as a BF650. With a few minor modifications (muffler modified, DG racing snorkle, jetting, aftermarket CDI, changed clutch springs) I am able to hit 69 mph w/ stock tires. Recently ran in organized drag races and took 2nd place in the heads up open utility class. I beat a heavily modified Grizzly, a King Quad, an AC650 w/ full exhaust system, jetting, and a highlifter module. Also beat a prairie 700 w/ hmf exhaust and jetting, and a Scrambler 500. I lost to a modified '05 Prairie 700. His reaction time, to the lights, was at least 2/10's of a second better than mine and I could not close that gap. As for handling on off cambers, I find my P650 to be excellent, even with 26" Mudlite tires. I know that it is better in off cambers than my wife's Vinson, and it is better than my friend's Grizzly 660. I think the BF650 is an excellent quad and a great value for the price. You will be happy with it.

Bought my 02 new & LOVE IT!!!!!! The BF650 is a more refined machine. Kawi had 4 years to improve on the Best in its class/ATV of the year.
You can't go wrong with the BF650 or a Prairie 700. A dyna CDI will equal or best a stock prairie 700 in Performance in 300 ft. If you are a hunter or occasional Drag racer the 650 will be fine, & more power than you'll ever need. If you mainly Drag race your buddies or plan on hop-ups get the 700, you'll be approximately 5HP ahead & more Midrange GRUNT. Stock, it isn't the most stable quad but some good tires will take care of that. The stockers got me through some rough stuff but they definately suck. As far as top speed, which IMO doesn't really mean much, mine got up to 63 MPH and then I ran out of room.

The BF650 is an awesome value.
