I'm interested in the speedo computer for my KFX 700. Where is it mounted? Does it mount in place of the warning lights cluster?

no it mounts back by the tail light............Its tough to look at but it works.

For the trailtech computer, there are a couple of choices. I have mine mounted on top of the plastic warning light cluster. They also make a trick mount for it with a set of handlebars. If you go to their web site, it should show the options.

 

Try a GPS unit. Mine has a pretty large screen with an "analog looking" speedometer dial. works good and dosent cover up warning lights.
