The Prarie will be hard to beat, but I want to see more about the Bomb 800.

I had been debating that issue for sometime myself. I really like my Rincon for somethings but not others. I am thinking of selling and getting a Prairie 700. Just don't know if I might regret it.

If all of the latest reviews turn out to be accurate, the Bombardier Outlander 800 will be the king for a while. They say 25% more power than a Brute Force 750 and the fastest. As good a ride as any. Simpler rear suspension with fewer parts and as stable as any with the best handling and 12 inches of ground clearance. An auto front locker that really works. An anti-theft ignition. A large gas tank. Standard 26 inch tires. EFI and good fuel economy---and can power slide almost as well as a SRA quad. There is also a Max version of the 800 for 2 up riding (or extra storage space) that adds about 8 inches to the quad but apparently handles as well as the regular version and is nearly as fast. It sounds almost too good to be true, so we'll see. Oh yea---and a 3 year warranty! The only down side I've heard is that it will be expensive, although not much more than a Polaris 800. I wonder what Kawasaki will counter it with?

Keep an eye on the Bomb O800, it will be the King-of-the-Hill for awhile but I don't see Kawie sitting back & losing sells to BRP for too long.
Of course the O800 is faster than the BF750, their is 51cc's more power.
MPG will be interesting to see, even with the EFI. More power the more gas you will use.
Perfect example:
Went up to Colorado in the High Rockies just a few weeks ago, with elevations from a low of 8800 ft to 13,000 ft. Low range 4x4 was used about 40% of the time, 20% in 4x4H & 20% in 4x2H.
Polaris 800EFI(760) avg mpg was 12.5 and it was in 4x2H 80% of the time, (another story).
BF750 avg was 14.4
Prairie 650 was 16.7.

#1. Bomb Outy 800 - EFI, V-Twin, only sporty IRS, most displacement=the most power in any class.
#2. Prairie 700 - V- Twin great power, very stable sporty SRA, and proven perfeormance and quality.
#3. Brute Force 650 - Same as Prairie, new plastic and new name, the original prairie 633 V-Twin.
#4. Sportsman 800 - Twin EFI, good power and plush ride.
#5. King Quad 700 - EFI Good power, better than average IRS.
#6. Honda Rincon - Gear auto trans, above average IRS 2nd only to the Outy IRS, short on power for class.
#7. Brute 750i - Poor suspension, great motor, 2nd only to the outy 800 in power.

There is my pics in the order I would pic them and short answers to why.

After riding every big bore and owning a new Outlander 800XT the new answer is without hesitating the BRP 800!

Went riding Sunday with 9 buddies and after switching back forth from different bikes EVERYONE said the 800 was the fastest and best handling bike they ever rode.

I couldn't wait to get back on my 800 it is that good, smooth controllable power everywhere.
Went through a high speed whooped out section that would throw the bikes all over the place but on the 800 I could double jump straight from whoop to whoop it was cool. Racing down trails and seeing a pile of rocks ahead I would wheelie over them or hit the first rock and completely jump over the rest. Darting through trails and hitting obstacles was made so easy with this machine, it gives you confidence maybe too much.

Guess what gas mileage is incredible it had the most gas left in the tank even beat out 400 Outlanders with a quarter tank more gas, the fuel injection plus not having to give as much throttle to go fast must make all the difference. The bike isn't even broken in!!!!!!!!

mdog
you keep riding it like that and we will see how well it holds up.
because wheeling over rocks and doing double jumps will find the week spots real quick.
as for me i will say the 700 prarie is still top dawg.
only because the bomb has not bin out long enuff to prove itself.
we will see in the next few months how well it holds up.
