im getting ready to make my 1st oil service on my new kfx700. what would be the best oil to use for the rear gear case oil. the kawi manual recomends mobil fluid 424/ citgo transgard tractor hydraulic fluid/ exxon hydraul 560 or kawa chem gear and wet break oil.

are any of those synthetic or is there a good synthetic oil for the rear gear case ?

also are there any other oil filters that can be used besides the kawi one. are there any bigger one's which can possibly hold more oil 4 this quad. is there a higher performance filter beside the paper ones ?

I just did the first service on my KFX and could not find any other filters avil. I had all the major parts stores in town look in there books and tryed to cross the number also so I guess no one makes it in the aftermarket yet. I you find one let me know...I read somewhere on hear that the Mobil 424 is syn. but I don't know this for sure. and it is also recommened that you wait untill the thrid service or so to change the engine to syn.
