Default just installed comet clutch

well, my factory clutch died and the dealer wanted $524.78 for a new one. so i was forced to do some cyberspace searching. i found a brand new comet high performance clutch with new pink spring and cam arms including shipping to my door for $319.00. it works great , but had to do some modifying to the inside of the housing. since the comet was slightly larger on the backside,,it wouldnt slide all the way in. so got the grinder out and grinded away! only a small portion had to be removed, but it works great!!

So you replaced the stock primary clutch with the Comet Clutch??? If so, did you notice any performance improvements...did top-speed increase? Does it take off stronger? Pull wheelies now? Etc. Or did is the performance very similar to the stock clutch? Just curious.

it seems to have a bit more torque and yes it does take off stronger. a wheelie? r u kidding? not with a 360.and yes it was the primary clutch.

LOL...yeah, I guess i was asking a bit TOO MUCH from the Comet Clutch to make a P360 pull wheelies!

1) Have you noticed any top-speed improvement with this Comet clutch? If so, how much?

2) How about its engagement when you take off...does it have a higher stall effect than the OEM primary clutch or does it take off smoothly and similarly as the OEM primary clutch?

Well, its always good to know we have an option other than paying the big bucks for OEM parts.
