Starter Problem on 01 prairie 400

Default Starter Problem on 01 prairie 400
The prairie won't start when i push the start button but when I pull the backup cord it start with no problem. And I do i know if my overdrive work. By the way if i put the gear in N the light doesn't come on for N.

Default Starter Problem on 01 prairie 400
Will it start if you pull the brake if a 400 allows that? Sounds like it may be a linkage adjustment or motor mount bolt loose ( I read about this problem on 650s in a forum).
