Default low gear grinds when slowing down on Prairie

Hello, me again

The same 2002 Prairie I recently purchased seems to have another problem. When I put it in low range, accelerating is fine, but when I come to a stop, the bike seems to grind gears, or skip gears, or someting. If I slow down real easy It does not happen. Has anybody Heard of this? What can I do to fix the problem?

thanks!

Try adjusting the gear shifter linkage. It its off a little, it may cause the gears to grind like you described. Go to Nyroc's website and you may be able to find the instructions/pics of this adjustment. Its actually quite easy to do and only takes a few minutes.

Good luck and happy trails...
