Default HL ICM/Moose Module

Which is better the HL ICM or the moose module for BF750? Is there any difference in power? I have $100 to spend. I can get the HL for $93.95 or the moose module for $79.95. Anybody know much about these? Thanks

They all do the exact same thing ones no different from the other in performance except the moose module is plug and play the other 2 require soldering.

No, the DYNA thing is an aftermarket CDI. It changes the timing curve through the entire RPM range, besides doing other things.

Dyna or VDI CDI will be cheaper & more performance in long run. CDI is Plug & Play in case you need to take it to the dealer for warranty.

By the time you get the Module + Flywheel Key + gaskets + labor you spend about the same. Your choice. Be sure your Flywheel Key is installed correctly and Flywheel torqued to specs. Broken Keys could cause your machine to jump time, crank damage, and or TNT your Motor.

Do any of these plug in modules change anything besides the timing?
Do any of them have the fans turn on sooner for a cooler running quad?
Where can you get the moose for 79.00????

I have a 2005 BF 650 and am thinking of a module.

The dyna changes the timing curve through the entire powerband. It also increases the spark energy, removes the reverse limiter and belt warning light. The dyna also, I believe but could be mistaken, increases the rev limiter a little.

Put a Moose module on the new 650.
Just made the rsponse quicker off idle.
Top end is still 69 mph.
Temp stayed the same also. Of course it has been 95 F plus out here .
