I am considering buying an 1986 Bayou for my son as an entry level ATV. He wants to change from the 5HP go-cart to something bigger, and I want to make sure he stays interested before buying a better quad. We saw a Bayou advertised that seems reasonalbly priced, but I can't find much information about it before we go and look at it. Anyone who has information about size, weight, reliability of engine, and so forth would be appreciated. How many miles or hours is reasonable before the motor needs to be overhauled? I am open to any and all suggestions.
