KFX700 Belt Life
#1
Just curious, what kind of belt life do you "Big Green" riders see out of your rubberbands? Is it more or less so than the average life expectancy of a Prairie? Do you need to adjust it like the Prairie/Brute Force?

So you go with a belt-change a year and that pretty much holds you? How much of the year do you ride and do you baby it? Someday I will own a KFX700 if they continue making them for awhile. I rode one and was very impressed with it.

Hey man...
I ride my V every other weekend and I DO NOT baby it. My V has over 200 hours on it now and I've never had a problem. I have the Dalton weights which hold the belt tighter than the lighter stock weights and minimise slippage. Keep in mind though that I ride in the desert and my bike rarely sees water other than washing it. I'm not sure how water affects belt life if at all. Good luck......
