Dont ride your 4 wheeler but keep making payments.

#1 they tell you not to ride it so they can avoid liability if it breaks. I rode mine for weeks checking the A-arm each ride (different problem on the 750)
#2 you can go into dispute and make the payments to an escrow service, that is to say, you still make the payments but Kawasaki doesnt get the money until they resolve the dispute. Sometimes this speeds their *** up.

I found a dealer that said when ever you are ready just drop it off we will have it 1 or 2 days and you can pick it up. They say they have the parts. Wow I couldn't believe it, i'm taking it there tomorrow

skooter525, I see your from Maryland also. Is there anyway I can get the name of the dealer so I can advise my dealer that there is a problem with them not getting theirs in so fast?

my dealer phoned me today and said parts are there for both off my bikes and to bring them in when I can. Only bought the last bike from him . has no problem fixing both.

The brute force has been a total disaster when you judge it against the super utes that have come out in the last year.

LTRACER: I have an '02 Prairie and an '05 Prairie.....got recall letter on both. Checked both of mine and both are ok. I don't worry about riding either one. When you get your new '05, tell the dealer you will pay for it when he shows you proooof the new kit is installed. No liability to you.
Personally, I wouldn't worry about riding either of mine anywhere, anytime. Odds are way in my favor that either one will hold up. The freakin' kawasaki lawyers have calculated it's best to spend a few million (and a pain in the *** for all of us) on recall than a few big settlements. Odds of mine breaking on a tight mountain decline turn or on a fast trail are about like winning the lottery.
