ya you have to use an impact gut, make shure you use one to put it back on too or if not then use a breaker bar becasue they need to be real tight

well ill take a guess.........he probally threw the chain and smashed the crap outa that piece below the front sprocket putting a huge hole in the transmission cover........that happened to me acoupple times when i had a worn back sprocket or a masterlink broke and the chain came off but now i made my own chain guide/case saver and its working real good.........was i right???

Default Lakota Help?????

i could feel mostly mid to top pull and no added bottom but i think the 14th up front was too high of gearing and i lost out on alot of bottom end so untill i get my 20 inch tires im putting a new 13 on that i got from rocky monutain the other day and that should give me the added low end power i was looking for i hope because i even was getting beat by a ttr125L till the end of 4th gear then i endened up spanking it but if i was doing a short drag it would have been embarissing to loose to a 125 lol so hopefully the 13 tooth will even everything out because with the 420 and that carb i think i set the engine up for too much of a top end power and not enough bottom end but like i said before the 20's on the aluminum wheels in the rear will give me added bottom end also.....wow this has nothing to do with my carb lol, anyways the jetting is borderline rich sometimes but for the mostpart its ok and it still misses when i give it full throttle from a dead stop but according to greg its becasue i have no spark arrrestor and theirs not enough back pressure and that makes some sense but i dont think a arrestor will completely elliminate the problem, are you running a race or a quiet core on your supertrapp becasue im not about to pay 80 bucks for a spark arrestor if it dosnt eliminate the probelm, did you find a way to get yours to stop doing that becasue it is annoying sometimes? what duration cam and what sprocket combo are you running btw

I run a quiet core with no discs. I think my cam was only like a 360 lift or something around there nothing near as big as yours. My gearing is 13 43. For some reason it isint anywear near as bad as it use to be i can go from about an eight throttle to full and its fine or sometimes even less throttle than that to start out. The only thing i have changed is playng around with the air fuel screw. Hopefully Greg will get 8more orders on a those 350 pistons so i can get more comp then the crap 8 to 1 FST gave me. Then i should be able to go from a dead stop into a wheelie while sitting down.
