Default Skid plates for 05 BF650?

I see that Kawasaki offers several skid plates for the BF650 on their website under accessories.... but my question is whether they are any better than the standard equipment skid plates.

Thanks

they are better than the stock skids, BUT there are companies such as Aluminum Products & Ricochet that make much better skid plates and A-arm guards than Kawasaki. I have Aluminum Products on my Rubicon and they are nice. My brother has Ricochet on his Prairie, they are nice as well. I'm leaning toward Ricochet myself for my Brute Force 750. Not to mention that these companies are nowhere near as expensive as Kawasaki.

I am using the A P skids on the Brute 750. My P650 has the Ricochet skid plates, both are great and better than the stockers anyday + they are cheaper in $$ than the beefier Skids that Kawie offers.
