what is the most fastest prarie that you know of? my friend said he ran a 17 at 85 mph, two numbers that do not seem to match up. he says he has "everything" done to it. by the way it is the 650 with auto trans with clutch kit piped and he said it was worked. sorry dont know the details.

The first part of that one needs more research...

 

Alltoys has had his over 100 mph.

I agree... need more research... that is extremely fast, but with the clutch mods , CDI's, specialized tires... etc... it's very possible... I'm hoping mine will hit 85 in the 1/4 mile... but it has a BBK, radical cams, heads flowed, CDI, clutch machined, special 29" drag race tires & 15" aluminum Drag Lite wheels... I have no doubt that ALLTOY's got very close to 100 mph... I may just see how close I can get to that mark, before the summer is over...

 

Alltoys got to 108 mph and then melted a piston due to too much juice. For a bonafide run, he had to get to a speed and then hold it there for 1 mile. He got over 100 but couldn't keep it for a mile.

 

If I remember correctly his highest sustained was 98mph, couldnt maintain over 100 whether it be from mechanical failure or from loss of control.
