Default grizzly or honda 440ex -drag race????

I run in 100 yard sand drags quite a bit. The main questions you need to ask is can both of you ride, I dont mean jump on and go but really ride. Also where and how far will you be racing, I mean if your running 100 yards in sand with no paddles then the extra traction of the 4x4 could give you problems. But if your running 100 yards on pavement and he has mud tires that weigh 45 pounds a piece then you'll win. From my experience having raced a few 440s and a modified grizzleys if rider skill and size is equil then the 440ex should win although he may give you some trouble off of the line. For all the people who say no way and someone is crazy about their opinion, I'll tell you the same thing I tell the 400's and raptors "Lets line'em up and see who is running more than their mouth."

I have a Grizz with a clutch kit, jet kit, uni air filter, white bros slip on pipe and 26 inch mud lites. My buddy rides a stock 400 ex with jet kit, filter, and a e-series slip on. In a drag race on pavement from a dead stop I have him every time intil around 30 mph and then he starts pulling me and by the time we hit 60 mph he has me about 2 quad lenghts. NOW, if i put stock tires on I can beat him every time. I guess its the difference with the stock tires being lighter and a better gear ratio. I gain about 4-5 mph with the stock tires. However, I think a 440 ex would go by me pretty easy! Good Luck and keep racing anything that moves, I DO

Not to say your 660 is the same as the one I raced with my P700, but..... he never had a chance. I pulled on him out of the hole in 2wd. I had to try and keep the front end down. We raced for about 300 yards. He asked if he could take a rip on that thing. After a quick 5 min ride, he got off and all he said was "holy".... with a funny smirk.

And be careful which P700 you say you would spank, cause one day we may just meet on the trail.

HOLY CRAP!

You guys have some fast Utes. I've not run into a stock-ish BF or Prarie that could beat my stock z400.

At a harescramble race eariler this year I saw some really fast Praries that could smoke me out of the corners or in a drag, and they did, but these were heavily modded bikes and pro riders. Right down to the beadlocks these things were built.

I rode with a stock Griz660 this weekend, he could not hang with me. As soon as I hit mid 2nd gear I started to pull away, by the end of 3rd gear I was gone.
