Default Kawasaki Ninja 250? Info?

I have had my EX250 for about 4 years now. Here is general info:
It's a great 250cc bike (and the only bike still in production in its class) but there is not much "sporty" about it, excpet the full fairing and lots of busy shiftng to stay in the powerband. The max claimed power is about 29 hp and I topped out at around 105 mph. There is ZERO bottom end torque and you can barely feel the power coming on around 7000 rpm. It red lines around 13.5K rpm but don't stay there too long - you may see a rod coming out of the case. I usually cruise around 8~10K rpm in busy So. Calif freeways. It has a HUGE 4.8 gal fuel tank and I get easily over 70+ mpg (beats Pirus and Insight at a fraction of their MSRP). It has rare 16" wheels and the riding position feels cramped if you are over 5'10" for long distance. The bike's origin goes back to mid '80s and virtually nothing has changed except in C&G. Still, Kawi's original design is quite modern including twin-cam 4-valve/cyl water cooled all alum engine w/ elec fan, disc brakes, just like today's bike w/o EFI. In short, this is a great reliable 250cc sporty (looking) econo bike for zooming around rural towns where hard acceleration is not often required.
Any specific question about it?

Yeah just a few Q's!

: What does full fairing mean?
: Could you peel out or leave some rubber on the pavement?
: Does it sound cool!

You sound like you've got no clue at all about motorcycles and much less about EX250. It also sounds like 250 is not the bike that you want even though it may be the right one for you. I'll be a nice a nice guy and give you the A's.

A cowling is the plastic that goes around the top of the handlebars of the bike, encircling the headlight, covering the bars an instrument cluster, and containing a windshield. Otherwise the bike would look like a cruiser not a crotch rocket. Also sometimes called a fairing, usually by OEM's.
