Kawiyowee, I know about the timing being retarded at low speed and that fact isn't what I was debating on, my point was about the max timing the engine could take. Over advance will hurt performance so there is a limit to how much an aftermarket cdi can do. The switch on the VDI ect.. isn't of interest to me, I am looking for best performance and reliability witch is what my post is about. I hope the VDI works well for you, I'm not looking to bash VDI or anyone only curios about other DYNA owners and how there cdi's are doing.
