Default It Finally Happened, Im a new 2005 BF 750 owner!!!

Not only a 2005 BF 750 owner, but a proud BF 750 owner. The power of this machine is awesome. After debating back and forth between 3 ATV dealerships on the best price, I finally gave up because the only deal that I found was in another state and it was a deal because I avoided the sales tax, until I titled it anyway. After a morning of being PO'ed I decided it just wasnt the day, but I would call one more local dealer just to see if I would get lucky. I called and the salesman said you had better sit down for this, and I am thinking yeah right. He says, $6,242.00 out the door, plus I can still get the $69.00 winch option. After being speechless for about 10 seconds and thinking in my head, thats about $5,850 before tax, I told him that I wanted 2 of them and I would convince my brother once I got off of the phone. 3 hours later, it was in my garage, and my brother has its twin brother. That is BY FAR the best deal that I could find around here. I really wanted the 06 in silver, but I wasnt willing to pay around $1,200 more dollars to get it. My brother and I both left with a red Brute, and I must say the color is growing on me. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to all of the help that you guys have given me, and I look forward to returning the favor once I get a little seat time on this beast. Its modification time!!!

Congrats, Hollow.
I just took my new BF650 on it's maiden voyage yesterday. I was also quite impressed with the power of it. I also got the winch which I used twice - once to retrieve a friend, and the other for me. I had gone into a mud hole and the axle got stuck on the hump between the ruts and I got no traction. Even though - everybody was quite impressed with how far I made it. I also upgraded to 26" Maxxis Bighorns. Quite an impressive tire.

My neighbor also has a new BF750. I'm curious to see if he can make it through the hole, since he has better ground clearance than mine with the solid axle. I'll bet he can.

Another 5 hrs and she's broken in.

Good luck - and have fun!!

Rick

For break-in
#1 Dont try and race the engine too much
#2 After around 10-15 hrs. change the oil (The break-in oil is thin)

Just simply take it easy 'till you get some hours on it
