Default ITP Steel vs Aluminum

I am looking into getting a set of wheels/tires for my Brute 750. I like the looks of the ITP Black steel wheels with the chrome outer lip the best, but they are steel, and I imagine pretty heavy. Does anyone know the weight difference between the Steel vs Aluminum wheels? Will there be a big performance difference between the two? Also, does anyone know of any other brands besides ITP that carries a wheel that is primarily black? Thanks for the help

I would definitly stay away from steel. Once mud and crud gets in the wheel wells and you pressure wash it out etc...you lose more and more paint and it doesnt look too good. Best to get aluminum or carbon fiber. If you really want black rims you can look at HiPer carbon fiber beadlock rims as you can get them in solid black but they are quite expensive and Im not too sure as what they all offer for utilities. www.hiper-technology.com The only performance difference your gonna notice is durability. Steel rims are a pain in the butt when they bend and look tacky when they lose paint.

Over the years I have used both in aftermarket wheels but for my riding I have found that the Aluminum wheels hold up better.
