Mojave problem

I took my mojave out it ran perfectly until I went around a turn and it just started missing for about a minute and then it just died on me and wouldnt start at all. Pulled it home and the next day it started right up and it did the same thing.Now it wolt start at all changed plug not problem. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

sounds to me like it's not getting enough gas, but I'm not a mechanic. That's what quads tend to do if you leave the gas tap left to off .

Check your valves. The intakes like to cup into the head on Mojave's. My old '87 mojave did the same thing until I replaced the intake valves. A temporary fix is to adjust the valves every 2-3 hours of riding until you get new ones. It could also be a carbeuration problem which i would check by cleaning it first. One more problem is that the cam chains on mojave's stretch easily. I had to replace my 00's just recently and just after I sold my '87 the guy I sold it to said the cam chain was stretched so bad that the cams skipped a few teath causing it not to run. The last thing I can think of is your spark plug is bad/fouled or something went on the ignition.
