kx 250 vs 1999 civic
#1
this weekind my buddy raced his kx 250 (.30 over, piped, diff sprockets, etc) against a civc. hte kx was killin the civix, but then my buddys kx blew up. lol funniest thing id ever seen. man was he pissed. the guy in the civic said he was goin around 90 and the kx was prolly a car llength ahead atleast, so he was prolly pushin 95.
hes gonna need a few thousand dollars in repairs so he wont be ridin for a while. funny tho.
i hear a lot about kxs blowin up, like more than any other 2 stroke bike, are they any easier to blow or do i just only seem to hear bout the kawis doin it.

Sorry but I got an 02 yz250 with pro circuit pipe and silencer, vforce reeds, 2 teeth smaller on the rear sprocket and it wont do anywhere near 90mph. 70-75 maybe and thats a BIG maybe. 4-stroke mx bikes will fly on top end because of the wide spaced tranny gears and a high reving motor but a 2-stroke is geared down too low for high top speeds. Not enough torque unlike a 4-stroke

well i dunno, the guy in the civic said he was doin 90. i think it was possible for the 250 to be pushin 95, but even if he wasnt it was still hella funny to watch. he was flyin tho. how much will it cost to repair you think
