Well my buddy has a new problem with his Brute. He got the carb cleaned out and everthing from the mud hole, but now the belt is loose. We have taken it on a number of rides since the mud hole and has been fine. We were on a ride the other week and his machine just lost complete power. We noticed he was not behind us and when we went back found he was having trouble. He had a loud knocking sound coming from the belt housing. Luckily we were within 10 minutes of another friends house, so we towed his back there and went and got the truck. He opened it up and found that his belt was loose. Is there anything that knowingly causes this? Is there a way to tighten it up, or does he need a new belt? Any help will be appreciated.
