My buddy got his 05 front rack at the dealer and i think it cost him about 92 bucks or so. I bet you can find a cheaper place.

I had some rack problems myself as I have a full fairing (the winter winds can get cold here on the lakes) and wanted to install a Trappers box as sometimes the distances covered are long. however with the fairing on, the Trappers box will not fit on the front rack.

So I am in the process of aquiring a small sheet of Steel (maybe aluminum) and screwing it into the mounts for the rack and then attaching the rack to this new plate (the plate might be hollowed out in the middle). the front rack will then be about even with the front bumper and stronger too --- and give me room for the Trappers box.

I had looked for a larger front rack but was unable to locate one ---- I would be interested if you find any other than a replacement for the original.
