Default blinking 4x4 light on 2004 KVF360

A few days ago the 4x4 light on my kvf369 started blinking while i was going about 25mph. I had riden about 12 miles at the time. I stopped, tried to switch to 4 wheel drive but the bike didn't engage. I turned off the machine and restarted. the light didn't blink and the 4 wheel drive engaged. while again traveling in 2 wheel drive after another 12 miles or so the 4x4 light again started blinking ..... same thing it reset when the bike was restarted. Same thing happened 3 days later.

Any suggestions?????

thanks in advance

Jim

you know, kawi can stick all this electronic bullsh#t up their a#@es---we ride in mud and water and they make everything so complicated--I yanked my KEBC completely off and also made my 4 wheel drive actuator in to a manual unit with a locking T handle cable--I know this doesnt help you but i feel like venting everytime I see this----Check your fuses next to the battery--there is a 5 amp fuse that has gone bad on me twice now--both times the fuse has been broken---check it and make sure it is working correctly---That happened to mine and it did the same thing
