Default American Eagle plow on Ebay

I am in the market for a snow plow and I noticed a 54" American Eagle plow for $365 total and free shipping. Is this a good plow? I havent heard of many prople in here with American Eagle plows, my dealer recommended them. Also, is a 54" a good all-around size for a Brute 750? Thanks fellas

I bought an American Eagle plow last year and it is a good plow, well built. I have owned a rough country plow for my last atv and the eagle plow is built better than that one. If you are buying off E-Bay and if it is from sd155racer beware they have a hard time delivering the plows. We have waited almost a month now and we finally cancelled the credit card charge. They will not respond to our phone calls either.

When dealing with people on Ebay always check there feedback and if you can email some of the members who have dealt with the seller.

Good points and yes we did check his feedback which was good, He must have been selling these plows without actually having them to sell. He must be buying them as he sells them. I have never had a problem with e-bay before this and I have bought and sold allot of stuff. We are still waiting on this plow and have stopped payment to this seller also.

I actually went through my dealer and got a 60" American Eagle standard blade, with the mounting plate, the tube and runners, and the rubber flap for the top all for a total of $428. I didnt think that it was that bad of a deal. Now I am just waiting for some snow!!!!

I have a stupid question. The Eagle plow came with some terrible instructions, and they didnt really explain everything. There are two bolts, one on each side with a small plate that are right above where the plow attaches to the tube runners. In the manual they are called Blade stops. What exactly are they for, the blade will stop without them? Are they to lock the blade from tripping when you hit something?? Some help from an American eagle owner would be appreciated. Thanks

The plates that are held on by the bolts are relatively square, but the hole is drilled off center. If you were to rotate these plates, they would adjust the plowing angle of the blade. If the blade is tripped, it returns to rest on these stops.

Thanks for the tip, I figured it was either to lock the blade or just give it the added stop. I cant wait for some snow.
