Belt Melt 750 Brute

Lets see what I can learn,
I've done everything to this bike except go into the motor. I keep waiting for it to blow but no luck yet. I,ve sunk it three times to the bottom of the pond and it just keeps on giving.
My Problem is a group of us here in the Panhandle of florida go out riding on Saturday nights on the dirt rodes in the country. We have to get on the black top for about six miles. We run all out, and until one of my friend got a 800 Bommer I had the fastest bike. Well the past two times the belt has exploded, both after market HP belts. I have the bike snorkeled, I did it my self and it breaths through larger pipes than stock. I feel that with the Dynatec CDI the proformance of the bike took a big jump!!!. I wonder if the belt is being spun off the top of the primary clutch sheave? It's not melting, it's being torn to shreads.
Has again one had any experience with this.
Also I was looking at the scamatics on the belt drive system of the 750 brute and the 700 kfx. There isn't but two part numbers different and it's with the sheaves. Does anyone have any info if there will be any proformance gains?

http://www.700v.com/index.htm lots of good info. the problem you are having with belts is normal with the aftermarket belts, they are junk. you have to get a real kawi belt to keep it alive best of luck man.
