rv, no probably not since the 650's have a complete inner fender i believe. as for the belt, as hughjazz said, pull the drain on the belt housing, let the water drain out then put it in neutral and rev it. it will dry the belt and blow out any water that is left. all cvt tranny's do the same thing. a friends polaris did it all the time and anothers grizzly was the same way. the belt proably did slip while wet but when dry you should have no problems. and it probably didnt stretch so far you cant ride it. as every belt wears you will lose some bottom and top end but it will not be noticable until you shim(take out or put shims in, to tighten you take a shim out) as the manual says or replace the belt. you should be fine to ride. dont worry so much, go out and ride'm. Im in East Centeral Indiana also and rode mine for about an hour today with no problems. The Deep crap we got last year I did get the belt slipping as you mentioned. I am not having any air box problems as of yet but do keep an eye on it. We go on a lot of trips and I have not had any belt issues since that one. I have never replaced it, it is the original belt and I have 569 miles on it. I put a Dalton clutch kit, 6* offset key, HL ICM, Dyno Jet, Twin Air filter, it performed great today snow. Where in Indiana are you located??

well, I had teh same exact problem. Saturday, i was stuck out 2 1/2 miles out and i had to walk all the way back, while my friedn on his polaris sportsman 700 EFI came out and drug me homw without a problem. I also don't like how it doesn't have on command 4 wheel drive. when I hit the 4 wheel drive button, I have to move foward a little until it engages. But the belt and the air box, and how it's all connected and WIDE open, really got me mad. I think there's gunna be a recal on our kawasaki 750 brute force.
