I seem to have lost low range on my 650 '02 prairie there is no noise it just don't move I've tried adjusting the linkage with no change I would think if I broke a gear in the tranny you have some kind of a noise has anybody else had this problem and if so what did you find

I had the same problem last year. It was from loose motor mounts stripping low gear out. I had to pull the motor out and split the case and install new gears. I had cost me $600 to fix my self.

You can lift the machine off the ground and try to move the shift fork into low with the linkage disconected. Hope yours is just out of adjustment?

Let me know if you have any question
