how would go about taking the clutch assembly, spider gear and everything off the kawasaki prairie 360. is there a special tool you need or is there a trick too getting it off. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks -Dan

 

Hey Yammi---you will need a special puller---I am running short on time right now, but if you can find NYROC,s website, there is a guy on classifieds that makes and sells them for $25.00---I have one and it works fine--let me know if you cant find it and I will get back to you hopefully later today

hey oleman, i have come to the conclusion i have the same prob you did were the atv will stay engaged and such and will die somtimes. Im pretty sure i will need a clutch rebuild. Can you give me info on this as in what will i need and how hard. Do you suggest i go to the dealer or is it easy to buy the parts and rebuild it. I do have a manual. THanks

 

dont waste your time on rebuilding the clutch. go ahead and go to mfgsupply.com and get a comet clutch. for around $300 you get a brand new high performance clutch with cams and spring including shipping.. it is a good clutch with good torque..you may have to grind some on the inside of your 360 where the clutch slides on, but takes about 2 minutes with a grinder. go here http://www.mfgsupply.com/ATVCometClu...on_id=if3GbYhX

 

How much would it cost for all the parts to rebuild a clutch. How much would a dealer charge at 50$ and hour or so. THanks. Im would rather have a rebuild personally.
