Default Exhaust effect on top speed

I have heard some say that a performance exhaust or Nyroc muffler mod will reduce top end on the v-twins.

Any experience would be appreciated.

Default Exhaust effect on top speed

There is a long thread over on nyroc forum call 'Prairie Exhaust' dated today, that has some arguing going on (me included) plus some info on exhausts.

Basically it's about exhausts that are too loud, and also that after-market exhausts don't make much difference on a Prairie unless the engine is rebuilt to higher hp, needs to handle more exhaust.

I never heard of an exhaust mod (more flow) slowing down a Prairie. There's talk that a bike needs 'back pressure', but I don't think so.
