I don't think it will be a waste of money. You have a Twin Air filter which is supplying your carbs with more air than factory. You need more fuel to compensate for that. Plus the needles are way different than the updated version. It will get rid of your deadspot off the start and then some. I would go with the 144 front jet and 150 rear for your altitude. Also, they supply a drill bit for your slides. That also helps with throttle response. I was afraid to drill mine since the Brute was still new, but now I'm glad I did it. By the way, there are jet kits on E-bay for your machine for $39.99 plus $14 shipping buy it now. Good luck.

I did this as well and think it was well worth the money. my 05 was popoing between 5-12 mph plus had that hesitation down low. it was a bit of work getting her apart though, as said carbs dont need to come completly off. just twist them around to get to the bowls. mine had the carb needle update and it was still had the mis. runs 10 time better.

So Sam, I looked at your pics page and it says your Brute has no mods yet. So is the Dynojet your only mod so far? I ask because I'm also in Michigan (Schoolcraft, SW of Kalamazoo) and was wondering if you found the 144 front and 150 rear jets to be right for you? Thanks!

Just purchased the Dyno Jet kit on ebay, thanks for the tip Cammo. Now I have to put the dam thing in, that will be the fun part.

It's a lot easier than you think! It takes longer to get the plastic off and loosen the carbs than it does to do the actual slides and jetting.

There are knock off Dyno Jet kits going around(check Dyno Jets site they show you how to spot a knock off), I'm wondering if those for 39.99 are them compared to everyone else selling them for 59.99 on Ebay?Has anybody out there purchased these kits and are they real Dyno Jet kits?I'm asking because I'm interested in purchasing a kit from this place also.

Well that would be my luck. Hopefully everything is good to go. It looks as if the seller I bought it from has sold a ton of them and has an ebay store. I would tend to guess that the counterfeit ones are sold by individuals, rather than a company that sells a variety of atv stuff online. Im crossing my fingers, and Ill let you know.

I hope it's not knock off,I want to buy one too,if it is I'm pretty sure ebay has a policy on selling knock offs as genuine parts(you can get your money back if you paid with paypal)it's worth taking a look into if it is.Hoping it's not a knock off.Good luck
