Looking at getting some new tires for my Brute Force 750! Anybody got any suggestion? What will I have to do if I get larger tires to the machine?

I would say 27's or 28's upgrading tires you really dont need anything, you will feel some powerloss but get used to it. you can change your primary and secondary springs to regear it for the tires.

i don't know about larger than 27", but 27s will fit on the stock rims with no other mods needed. i think you could go larger too. but 27s for sure. most people change rims too, but the stockers are light and free (if you have them already).
i went with 25" Bighorns to keep the low end, and used the stock wheels (to save money for other mods like CDI). but there are so many tires to choose from, you have to tell us what you are gonna do with your atv before we can help you out much.

I went with the 26 inch Swamp Fox, Vast improvement without much loss of power. The Swamp Fox tires are way underated, paid $233.00 for them, The Mud Lites to me are way overrated.

Overrated, nah I don't think so. There is a reason people buy them, and keep buying them, and it's not just hype. They are a good tire with good wear IMO. Not to jack your thread but I am looking for a new set and wondering what everyone thought would be a good choice. I do a lot of mudding, but then again I do a lot of regular trailing. I deffinatly don't want something as extreme as say a set of mudzillas or outlaws. Thanks.

i have 28" mudzillas and the name says it all.
ive had 28" gators 26" mud lites and these 28" mudzillas and the zillas kick but to the other tires.
i think the gators were a great mud and swamp tire but my zillas are better.
also 28" mud bugs would be a good choice also.
my buddy has 27" on his 700p and they work great but i think the 28" would be a bit better for mudding.
im putting up a few new picks so it might take a bit of time for them to be posted but check tomorow and they should be up.

The Mudlites seem to wear faster and chip away in rocks, on the other hand the Swamp Fox brand of tire seem to wear longer and the tread seems to stay together. ATP Mudlites has a good and popular name and you also pay for that name. Not that Mudlites are a bad tire, just there just not as good as the Swamp Fox.

I dont believe they are overrated by any means. My dad has them on his Twin Peaks, and I have a set on my Bruin. The wear on them is great, and the traction is incredible. I highly reccoment them for anyone who is looking for a new set of mud tires.

Well guys I have the Bighorns 25" on my brute force 750, huge difference in traction over stockers. I have ridden mud, rocks, sand, all sorts of wooded trails and they are really good. They have a big bite though and dig in quick. I am running these on Maxxis 4x4 wheels.

My wife has the 26" Mudlites XTR on her Suzuki....lets be clear 26" is a lot bigger than 25". They ride nice as well, I think they added a lot of mass though. She is running these on ITP type 7s
