Default I need some Dyno Jet help fellas

Installed the dyno jet kit on my 05 Brute 750 today. Followed the instructions to a T, installed the clips on the 4th ring of the needle, and used 144 front/150 rear main jets since I am only about 900ft elevation. Set the mixture adjustment screws to what was recommended. It runs like crap, if I hold a constant speed, it will hold it, but if I give throttle from there it will miss out. No matter what range speed I am at, when I punch it, it misses out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have had enough for today, but I will tear her back apart in the morning so I will take all the help I can get. Thanks in advance.

Is it posible the rubber diaphram at the top of the carb got pinched, and is leaking air, when you put the cover back on?
Check all the connections at the intake and make sure they are correct and snug.
