Default 06' Prairie 360 4x4 speedo/hour meter help!!!

Hi there everyone! First post on the forum. Been reading for a while. Glad to finally get to holler out.
Anyway I picked up my new prairie this morning. I bought a speedometer/hour meter from the dealer. It has three, (3) pig tails on the end of the wires. The guy at the desk said it would be no problem to install. Simply pop off the round Kawasaki plastic cover over the instament panel and plug it in.
Well that's where my problem began. I can't find a freaking place to plug in the pig tails! I admit I didn't look that hard cause I dropped a screw and never found it. (remember, this four wheeler is about 1 hour old at this point!)
Is there some pigtail female ends somewhere under the gas tank or what? Please help a man out. I'd hate to think I spend $130 on a paper weight that says Kawasaki and has a long wire protruding out the back end! Thanks again!

The Sheriff!

Pics coming soon!!!

Go back to March 6th and look for the same thread. An old post was brought forward that covers this.

The wires are under the plastic on the left front of the handle bars in a black plastic bag.

And welcome to a great forum, lots of good stuff and some junk shows up here.

Thank you soooooo very much for the info! I saw the bag while I was digging around under there but since it's so new I didn't want to dig too much. I'll check it out tomorrow. I have the bike at my old mans house as I have no truck to haul it and he does, so we're going to go and try and get the thing stuck in the morning ! I'll let ya'll know how that goes! Thanks again for the info!

Hey there! I got it fixed! After taking off the front rack, fenders and gas tank cover, it was as easy as brain surgery! Not really that bad, but I hate tearing into something so new! Oh well, got it done now!
BTW this thing is hard to get stuck, (harder to get un-stuck) Had a blast this weekend, just hate cleaning everything up!
