lift kit 650 bF SRA?

lift kit 650 bF SRA?
What is a better lift kit for rear of 650 BF SRA? Lift kit on top of shock or on the bottom. I have one mounted on the bottom of mine , but a friend said it is better to have one mounted on the top. What do you guys think and what do you have on yours? Thanks Rendell.
