Wonder if you guys can help me out. My buddy rides a 2004 kfx 700. it is starting to make this noise when you are just putting around, going at slow speeds but when you take off it is fine. it sounds like it is coming from the back and sounds like metal hitting metal.
any ideas??

 

If he has paddles on this is normal. Or if going slow over bumpy/rocky areas. There is some driveshaft noise at slow speeds. Kind of a "clunk-clunk-clunk" noise. It does go away with some throttle!
