Default Flashing dash on '02 Prairie 650

I took my '02 out for a ride, and I had to hit the breaks fast, which locked the rear wheels when I took off again, the dash was flashing and it was cutting out just like it does when in reverse. Tried pushing the override, unhooked the battery, checked fuses, and the only thing that worked was to unhook one of the connections going to the dash, then it read normal but the miss was still in the machine. When I plugged it back in everything started flashing again. I have no idea where to go from here, it only has about 700 miles on it, and this is the first problem I have had. Thanks for any advice

what you should do first is call the dealer, and tell them exactly what you just said in the post. if they say to bring it in to check it out, do it. I have not heard of this happening ever, and i suspect you haven't either... so we don't know what to do! lol.... so yeah, dealer is the answer to all, (if you have money ) Later man,

sounds like a belt tripped switch. Take the belt cover off & see what poistion the switch is in on the inside. Make sure it is unplugged fr the wiring harness when you change it back.
Should be good to go. I would check out the belt & clutches while I was in there.

300ex only if the prairie runs out of gas. 400ex only if you've got work done or the prairie owner can't drive. If he's very light then maybe he can hit 70 on a stock machine, maybe.

Default Blank dash 2002 650 prairie

New to the group . I have a couple of questions . First is the digital dashboard on my 650 prairie is blank . The neutral light and the backlight work but nothing else have checked all connections and grounds . Everything looks good . Plugged in another unit and still have the same problem . Any ideas of what else to check ? The other question I have is does the 4 wheel drive still work with the dashboard blanked out ? Any help would be appreciated .
