The P700 or BF650 SRA. Both are as sporty as you can get and it still be a utility. He would not be happy with IRS trying to chase down a bunch of sport quad guys, trust me on that one.
When we ride with all our sport quad buddies I get get right in between them and slide with them in the turns and stuff. My other buddy on his BF750 is no where to be seen. Its just hard to handle the BF750 in the turs because of the height, feeling of being top heavy, and poor suspension for the turns.

The prairie is sporty just because of the solid axle and this gives better sliding. The BF is more sporty to me because it has alot more power, a lighter front end, and wheelies easier. If you are mud riding or snow riding, the BF is better just because of the IRS. I helped out a few p700's this weekend that couldn't get through a water hole. This can be fixed though with bigger tires, but then the sportiness goes away. To me the BF 750 seems sportier, maybe it's just because of the power, but short, quick turns the SRA wins every time.

Depends on what your definition of sporty is, I guess.
When I think of sporty I think of ability and ease of taking turns at higher speeds. Being the most sporty does not neccessarily mean having the most power. Slot of being "sporty", in my opinion, is putting that power to the ground and controlling it.
This is the definition given for "sports car" which I think can be applied to atvs as well.
"An automobile equipped for racing, especially an aerodynamically shaped, having a low center of gravity and steering and suspension designed for precise control at high speeds." www.dictionary.com
I like to think of the BF750 a muscle car (Chevelle, Buick GSX, and the other tire smoking monsters). It is kneck-popping fast in straight line but not exactly designed for the turns.
The BF650 and P700 are more like the modern Camaros and Mustangs. Quick in a straight line, and handle better in the turns.
Then the sport bikes are like the Exotics. Light, fast, builts for the turns and for the straights. Just out right built to race.
This is just my opinion though.
