Venom Winch or Warn Winch
#1
I got stuck in the mud the other day, and thanks to a come-along I was able to get out. I have decided to purchase a winch. I was wondering if anyone owns a Venom Winch, and if so, how does it stand up to Warn. I know it is about 1/3 of the cost of warn, but if its junk, I will spend the extra money.
I have gone on their respective websites, and they advertise the winches for the Brute Force 650. I own a Brute Force 650i, I am not sure if there is a difference on specs when it comes to after market products.
Again, Thanks for everyones input. This forum helps newby's, like myself, out.

I have researched Gorilla, Warn, Ramsey, and Venom. The Venom seems like the most bang for the buck and from reading the specs, they are definitely built pretty well for the under 200 dollar price point. Synthetic winch rope is a must, obviously.
If anyone has seen the Venom 2500 for cheaper than they have them on Ebay, let me know. Ebay seems to have the best prices I can find right now.
