Speedo would be off 9mph assuming it was right when you had 25" tires on... so you'd be running 59mph which is plenty fast for that damn much tire.

Just custom advanced the timing or buy a degree key. That will give some more power. If you custom advance it, all you would have in parts is 3 gaskets.

Oldmanwiz, V2 brought up something very important and that is belt wear. Perhaps you should do a clutch kit with tires that extremely large. I put Mudlite 27's on my 650 and it lags a little bit before the tranny engages. I would hate to see what it would do with 29.5 tires. Someone on here said that rotating mass of 1 pound = 8 pounds. I don't know what your tires weigh, but they must be in the 35lb each range I would guess.

what does everyone else think?

I think if you install a secondary spring and run in low whenever you can that should, by all accounts, really save the belt. Go to http://atv.dnsalias.com (Nyroc's web site) and there is an excellent tutorial and FAQs about choosing and installing clutch springs. Check around in the Prairie section as his Brute section is just 750 is limited. He has full color pictures and takes you step by step through everything. Also, a buddy of his Kiss Of Death has a web site that is good, but not as complete and that address is: http://kod.gotdns.com/index.cgi

As far as the degree key, that is covered in full detail as well as to install it on the Nyroc web site.

Hope this helps!

Bubba
