Default KFX 700 vs Bomb 800

Has anyone out their dragraced the kfx against the ute 800 from bomb? The closest person that has a outty 800 around here is 12miles away and is the only one i know of even close that has one. I know the kawi sport shaft drive is fast but has anyone acutally raced the two. good ridin -joe

Runs a 730 kit from OMW with web109's and a 48mm lectron. It has some serious torque!

i'd say stock vs stock the 800 locked in 4x4 will take a kfx700, but seeing as how you can mod the kfx to be a very very fast machine, moded vs moded the kfx would win

I don't know. Stock for stock definately the outi. Modded? It all depends on how much you do. I've heard of heads and cams for the outi that are worth 10 hp each. That's right each meaning 20 hp total gain. You take that 20 add 5 for a pipe and programmer and maybe 25 or 30 for nitrous and the outi will be extremely fast. But then again open you check book and let fundy or fst do their magic and the v can scream. It all depends on how much $$ your willing to spend.

Well i saw first hand a brute 750 take 3 wins out of 5 over a KFX700 in a 300` race. Modded out i will say outlander, my friend who has a brute force went to chapman performance to see what all this hoopla was about from these 800 bombs.....And when he got home he told me chapman was getting 90 rwhp and running 120mph on the dyno using a 50mm throttle body. And there just beginng to really get into the motor. there building a few of these bikes for GNCC racers, and was told by another source for can-am also. Take it for what its worth, my 2 cents.

Ah, i see. Thats why when i speak i give information from experience. I was under the impression from what i'd heard others talk, that the relatively light weight sport kfx was damn fast. Not just oh its a brute force fast lol. Good replies, Although im mostly a polaris follower soon as a kawi pumps out a efi full 800cc brute twin, yikes that would be very very nice and whole nuther league of drag race for that dern can am lol. good ridin -joe

That's what I was told, around 10hp each. Pm cc1999 and ask for yourself or go to chapman performance and see what they say. If I was a couple hp off then forgive me but on the person I hear that from is a good guy who from my experience with him does not exagerate. He's got no reason to and neither do I so I would appreciate you not calling me a lier.

First of all, i never called you a "lier". (liar) Second, all i meant was that is the absolute max you will ever get (with the right bike, other mods, .......). So chill a little bit.

why does everyone say 800 takes the stock for stock race?because of 4x4, or does it just have that much more power,im not familiar with the 800 but i would think the 100cc's it havs over the V,would be overcome by all the extra weight?am i wrong??
